From the gallery above the production hall, the guests of honor, mayor
G. Büssemaker, as well as the Chairman of the Sparkasse Ettlingen,
Mr. H. Fütterer, were able to get a good view of the machine park and into some of the production processes that are needed in the making of quality parts.

Altogether 111 guests, composed of members of staff, as well as, friends and family of management, and the official guests, followed their invitation to this anniversary event, which was celebrated in the conjunction with the official opening of our new, 2000 m² production- and administration facility in the Ettlingen-Oberweier business park.

At the official table (starting from the left cw:) were seated: Mr. W. Nutz, Mr. M. Studer, Technical Dir. Seifried Co., Mr. H. Fütterer, chairman Sparkasse Ettlingen, Mrs. Rauch, Rauch & Rauch Marketing, Mr. Th. Bruder, GF IHK Innovation & Umwelt and wife, Mrs. G. Schneider, former partner Seifried Co., Mr. K.-H. Mrs. Evelyn F. Schneider, Owner and Managing Director of the company, following the champaign reception and tour, opened the official part of the event with a presentation about the company's development from its founding by Mr. Josef Seifried in 1958, the continous growth and initiation of suppliership to the automotive industry by Mr. Horst Schneider and Mrs.Gerda Schneider, née Seifried, between 1967 - 1996, until this day as a certified company of the year 2003.

In particular, individual products were highlighted, that eventually find their way into systems of companies like Porsche, BMW, VW Phaeton and Audi.

Against the currents of the times the company has innovatively grown over recent years. With modern production systems and time proven know-how individual customer requests have continously been addressed. This allowed the company to gain a number of well-known customers and referrers and to now to look forward to more positive future developments.

Our express thanks go to Mr. Th. Bruder, CEO of the IHK "Innovation & Umwelt" section, who, with his speech addressing the change of times, presented Mrs. Evelyn F. Schneider, as a representative of Seifried-Zahnräder, with a certificate in honor of the company's anniversary.

A good mix of humor and straight talk characterized Mrs. Gerda Schneider's (former longstanding partner in the company), spontaneous address to the assembly, in which she congratulated company, management and the entire team to their successful work; a team that proves time and again that innovativeness and an uninhibited spirit are keys to success.

As a special gift to the 45-year anniversary of Seifried-Zahnräder Ltd., Mr. Jens Jakob, QS-Management, and Mrs. Barbara Englen, Executive Assistant, presented the street sign "Horst-Schneider-Weg" to be placed along the main driveway of the production facility, in the name of all staff.
Mrs. Nutz accepted this symbol of honor bestowed upon the late owner and Managing Director with great pleasure and gratefulness.

After the official part and the excellent multi-course buffet, the Live-Band "Pfandfinder & Kind mit R. Fränkle" kicked off and got everyone to their feet. Spontaneously formed "Boy & Girl Bands" showed off their singing and dancing talents and the celebration continued until early morning with even more dance and laughter.

The motto being: Work hard party hard!

… and with the motto … we assembled to produce it will go on!
